A Kansas native, Linda Kasten obtained an English degree with an emphasis in creative writing and journalism. As a staff writer and editor for her college newspaper, she decided writing factual stories was not nearly as fun as inventing them. After all, she'd been entertaining her teachers and classmates with countless short stories since grade school, before the video game rage. Her journalistic endeavors just didn't measure up to the make-believe worlds filling up her spiral notebooks. Even though family life temporarily moved her passion for writing down on the priority list, she still continued filling blank pages with characters' mixed up lives anytime she could carve out the time.
Taking advantage of opportunities to hone her craft, she attended writing workshops and conferences whenever possible. She also participates in various writing groups and Facebook networks. Now, with four novels—two thrillers and a romance suspense sequel—she hopes to sign a contract with a literary agency to find a home for her many books.
